Happy New Year!

Looking forward to 2026, I've starting to think about what I intend to do differently. My resolutions, insofar as this blog is concerned, are:

• Write blog posts more often. Last year there were several multi-month stretches during which I posted nothing at all, and I consider this a great failure on my part. This year I want to write at least one post a month, and hopefully more.
• Make this blog a place where my political positions are clearly visible, and where they are sufficiently elaborated that I don't have to write a whole new position post for every issue that comes up.
• Try to take bolder stands, which go further than what I realistically believe we can achieve. This way, I canc help make room for more "moderate" options and compromises that would be good enough.
• I have numerous unpublished posts that I want to get out there for people to see. I intend to clear my backlog and finally get these posts written and published.

And I intend to continue to be active in the Greens, but that's a given.

I wish everyone a year that is clearly better than the previous!
